In mid-2025, Transurban and its contractors undertook early investigation works on the Logan Motorway between Ipswich Motorway and the Mt Lindesay Highway to understand traffic movements, ground conditions and the surrounding environment.

The works involved:

• potholing, coring and drilling the ground in various locations along the Logan Motorway corridor

• ecological surveys along the Logan Motorway

• service investigations and ground survey works

• short-term closures of motorway ramps.

We appreciate your patience during these works.

Additional early investigation works will be undertaken in 2026 to further inform planning and design of the project. If required, we will notify you ahead of any planned works and make every effort to complete noisy works earlier in the night where possible to minimise disruption.
