Throughout 2025, Transurban and its contractors will be undertaking intermittent early investigations to better understand traffic movements, ground conditions and the surrounding environment, to further inform the planning and design of the project.

From time to time, you may see personnel undertaking these works on the Logan Motorway between Ipswich Motorway and the Mt Lindesay Highway. These works will be undertaken during the day and at night, when the roads are less busy, to minimise impact to motorists.

From early July to late August 2025, works will occur on Logan Motorway on and off ramps.

These works will involve:

  • potholing, coring and drilling the ground in various locations along the Logan Motorway corridor
  • ecological surveys along the Logan Motorway
  • service investigations and ground survey works
  • short-term closures of motorway ramps

These construction activities will include the use of traffic management, drilling equipment, construction vehicles and machinery.

We expect to be in each location for one day or night to complete the investigation works before moving on and we’ll do our best to complete noisy works early in the night where possible to avoid disrupting you.

Please note all construction activities are subject to weather and site conditions.

We do our best to minimise any impacts and disruptions to you, our neighbour. However if our project early works are impacting you or your neighbourhood, we want to know about it.
